HOW TO USE THE SERVICE

The Suzuki Violin Program Consultants service is designed to meet the needs of Suzuki Violin programs in various settings and in various stages of planning and development. For many of our clients, phone consultations can provide needed assistance. For those requiring comprehensive professional development services, workshops are available.  

Suzuki Violin Program On-Site Workshops

For programs just starting out, we offer a course of on-site workshops. These are given once every two weeks, over a semester.

Semester units are progressively sequenced, corresponding to incremental classroom semesters. Units are modeled on the Talent Education School developed in Japan, the basis for Suzuki class instruction. Direct and interactive presentations cover applied and theoretical Suzuki pedagogy / methodology. Curriculum emphasizes practical steps for building and maintaining a successful program. 

Established programs requiring special on-site services can arrange for customized workshops to upgrade programs and address specific needs.

The cost for the services of an on-site instructor is $1000 per day plus travel expenses. 

Setting Up Workshops 

Prospective clients needing on-site workshops should arrange to have an initial telephone consultation. A telephone session can be an extremely cost-effective way to assess key points, including the following:

• your short-term, intermediate, and long-range goals,
• resources available to you and your program's needs,
• options that will accomplish your objectives,
• role we can play assisting you in starting a new Suzuki Violin program or upgrading an existing program, and,
• fee schedule for any special services required. 

Appointments for Telephone Consultation

Phone consultation cost, (maximum one hour), is an $88 flat fee. To arrange for the telephone consultation, you need to do the following:

1. Complete and submit the online form, below. We process submitted forms, as they are received and then contact you, at the e-mail address you have provided.
   
2. Prior to appointed consultation by phone, $88 payment in US funds by check, payable to "Suzuki Music Academy," is required and needs to be sent to the following address:
